Senior Finance Specialist

As our new Senior Finance Specialist, you will be a part of our business finance department of 16 people helping drive value creating across the company and deliver actionable business insights with a proactive and customer-focused mindset. You will join a small team supporting Global Operations and more specifically the plants located in Denmark.
The position
You will have the opportunity to impact strategic decisions through financial analysis - as a Senior Finance Specialist you will report directly to the Senior Finance Manager in Global Operation with a dotted line to the local site Managers in Copenhagen and Roskilde and support many different stakeholders throughout the company.
Supporting the Plant Management with follow-ups on cost controlling of projects including relevant analysis, you will be the key person in the organization who delivers the overview and maintains the link between the site operations team and the business finance team. In your role as a Senior Finance Specialist your primary tasks are:
  • Support and drive all local financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting
  • Control SAP/CO and production masterdata on product costing in SAP
  • Cost analysis and follow up to support stakeholders
  • Follow-up on investment projects and business cases
For the right candidate there will be an opportunity to grow into a more global role in the future. The primary place of work will be in Avedøre.
Your personal profile
The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree in business administration, finance or economics (Cand merc., Cand oecon, or similar) and can present at least 5 years relevant working experience - Experience from the manufacturing industry are an advantage. Further, it is essential that you are a highly skilled user in SAP/CO, Excel and PowerPoint.
 
The work environment is dynamic and requires the ability to work independently with high attention to detail and project skills. We are looking for a well-organized self-starter with the ability to prioritize among multiple tasks. As interaction with the business is a key factor to success, we are looking for someone with both excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills that can guide and challenge the environment. You have a natural interest in understanding the environment you are working in.
